Doorslammers at Santa Pod Raceway

Santa Pod, it’s been a while but even after all these years you still deliver the goods. Around five or six years I think since I last graced the hallowed ground with my presence. A place which has had a profound effect on my existence with regular visits through my teens up to my late […]

Classic Sports Car Club

This weekends sees another round of the Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC) so it’s about time I uploaded the best shots from the round at Snetterton a few weeks ago. I say a few but it was only a month ago at the beginning of April. Although you wouldn’t think it looking at the photos, […]

Damp with an unexpected shower of Porsche

Snetterton like most racetracks in the UK is an open wasteland subjected to whatever weather is on the horizon with nowhere to hide. We sat picnicing in the car on arrival. The right place right time scenario occasionally presents itself and it should be grasped with caution. We had just arrived at Brands Hatch for a Sunday of the Historic Sports Car Club’s Legends of Brands Hatch Superprix. The Guards […]

The Brooklands Reunion

The 7th of August, 1926. Brooklands motor racing circuit, the first British Grand Prix, organised by speed record legend Henry Seagrave. Fast forward 90 years and what better way to celebrate than at Brooklands itself, with some of the original cars from that very race in attendance. With these and other Grand Prix cars through […]

Visit to Cadwell Park

While working in Lincolnshire recently I popped into Cadwell Park to see if the café was open for lunch. Better than that, it was open and there was a bike trackday on. What a scenic circuit it is too, rolling hills with plenty of good vantage points for spectating.
