Aircooled Drag Day

I was asked by my good pal Ben Lawrence to design a new logo for his drag racing event. It’s pretty much the only air-cooled VW drag racing event in Ireland. The scene over there is refreshingly simple. Basic grass roots racing all weekend, with a show and shine on the Sunday. In it’s third […]

Feeding the Sloths

Sloth Experience

Had a lovely day at Colchester Zoo last week. My better half Claire had been given a ‘Sloth experience’ for her birthday. To say she was excited is a massive understatement as she hopped about like a toddler till we got there. Really tricky taking photos of the ‘actual’ experience as it was through tinted […]

Classic Porsche Mag

Make sure you pick up this months Classic Porsche magazine. Its an awesome issue with an abundance of cool. A perfectly restored Gulf 917 Le Mans racer, a small flock of RSR’s, a rally Carrera RS restored to period perfection. One of the oddest coach built one offs I’ve ever seen. Also super cool for […]

Classic Cars at Audley End

The Father’s Day classic car show at Audley End saw a nice variation of metal on display. Highlights were the Jowett Jupiter and the late 30’s Ford Deluxe Coupe. Set in the grounds of the splendid Audley End House in Saffron Walden, Essex. See more of this beautiful English heritage site on the Life Projects page

Snetterton Part 2

The big one! The Autosport 3HR endurance race, steeped in history and drenched in rain. Thrills, spills and plenty of puddles.

Snetterton Part 1

With all the build up in this first part, qualifying, preparation and adjustments in the pits and some shots from qualifying. You can see how wet and wild it was on track.

This weekend at Snetterton. The endurance race features cars from the pre ’66 GT class from the HSSC (Historic Sports Car Club) racing over a 3 hour period pushing to the limit. The endurance race is on Saturday, but there’s plenty of racing on the Sunday too, including a tribute race to honour the memory of […]

Historic Donington

I went to the Donington Historic Festival over the first May bank holiday weekend. Privileged to be asked along to take photo’s for Classic Porsche Magazine of this 356A racer owned by Steve Wright and co-driven and maintained by Ian Clark of Wolfsburg Performance Services. Racing in the pre 66 GT class, the car is undergoing constant […]

If you go down to the woods today….

…. you’re sure to see bluebells as far as the eye can see. Especially at the Chantry woods near Guildford in Surrey, worth a visit at any time of year but in springtime is a must. Find out where they are on the Woodland Trust Website
