Silver Boxsters

Two on the same day shot for PIE Performance in Suffolk a 986 and a 987, and certainly interesting to compare them almost side by side. The later car, the 987 while more refined and a bit more modern in the cabin is now at an age where that more up-to-date interior and tech isn’t actually such a big difference to the earlier car. On exterior looks the 987 would be the popular favourite but it has got be said that the early Boxsters have a certain charm. I remember seeing my first on the road when they came out and loved it, but then I’ve always loved the 996 with the same facial expression and was at Le Mans when the GT1 raced so the beauty of the headlights has always been there for me before the hip to be square crowd professed their love for the ugly sister.
