It’s addictive viewing

Yes, more Classic Sports Car Club at the start of May. At the mighty Silverstone this time. Fantastic access and organisation on a brilliantly sunny day. The Silverstone Wing was open so we had a great vantage point looking down on the start/finish straight which was a first for me. Again the Future Classics and Mintex Classic K classes were out and that’s what we were there to see. Got to hook up with Aston and Tony Blake of the Project RSR team for the first time having seen them race at Snetterton and have a proper look round their pace setting car. Also the Flat 6 Racing team were out in their brand new Martini Racing 911. They’ve got the livery spot on with this new car, it just looks awesome from every angle, those familiar stripes flowing over the wide arches. Such a friendly bunch too with both teams happy to stop and chat and welcome you into their garage space. Photography wise a bit of a mix, getting used to some new kit, trying out some new techniques most of which I hasten to add won’t actually make it to these pages but I enjoyed being a bit more experimental.
