356 International
May 31, 2018
The single most important Porsche 356 event of the year, organised by Porsche Club GB and I went! Well….. sort of. I would have loved to have gone for the whole event but due to varying factors I wasn’t able to get it booked. The whole event comprises of a few days of workshop tours, fine dining, country drives with what seemed to be well over 100 cars in attendance from all over Europe and indeed the world with one car having been shipped from the USA to take part. What a result though that they opened up one of the days to club members to attend a joust at the stunning Hedingham Castle. You would have seen Hedingham Castle before on my blog and it really is the perfect venue for such a day out. The weather was kind and the cars were simply stunning. Three Gmünd cars, v-screens, pre-As and everything after right up to the latest model C cars. A jaw dropping display which I have to admit left me a bit bewildered of what to look at. I seem to have developed an obsession with early dashboards which I realised when I got home to check my photos. Still. I got some car shots. I hope you enjoy. Don’t forget to keep your eye out for the 2019 event which will be held in a whole different country.
