Mr Torquer

May 1, 2019

Here’s one to look out for, hopefully hitting the strip at Dragstalgia later this year. Mr Torquer. A piece of UK drag racing history, revived and improved by current custodian Paul Dawson. We first saw it in primer ready to be painted by Steve of Chopping Body and Paint and couldn’t believe the interior detail and chassis work before the paint went on. You can see the scale of some of the chassis work on this Facebook gallery posted by Chris Isaacs Race Cars. Last weekend we saw the almost completed car at Steve’s open house. Following one of the original paint schemes with additional flake and quilted roof section this is one bad ass Fordson Van. Just check out the shots below for an idea of what to expect.

Thanks Lee, I can’t take any credit. The amazing transformation is down to it’s now owner Paul Dawson along with Steve Chopping who did the awesome paint job. Thanks for checking out my blog.
