Appuldurcombe House

An empty shell of a grand house built in the 18th Century, damaged by bombing during World War II and never repaired. The interior was stripped and sold leaving this magnificent but sad empty hulk. At present open to the public as an English Heritage site, but was recently for sale as part of the whole estate. Quite the restoration project…
