Pre 1950 Grand Prix cars at Donington

The two HGPCA Nuvolari Trophy races at this year’s Donington Historic Festival were arguably the most entertaining from a spectators view, added rain during the race on Saturday of course added further to the excitement as priceless cars from the era hurtled round the famous circuit celebrating the 80th anniversary of the 1936 Donington Grand Prix. Entries from Maseratis, Bugattis, Alfa Romeos, Eras and more from the 20’s through to the late 40’s. Its a photographers dream to see these both on the track and in the pits.
